An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Sexual and Reproductive Health Clinical Studies Group (SRH CSG). The SRH CSG develops and provides guidance for clinical and behavioural science research studies to improve the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) of all people. Deadline for applications is 13 May 2019.
We are looking for an enthusiastic CSRH trainee representative to be part of the team. The successful applicant would be available to attend the SRH CSG meetings four times a year – two via teleconference - and be a key member of the team to help with the development and shaping of future research in SRH.
The role of the SRH CSG is to develop and oversee an approved portfolio of studies in SRH; propose and develop well-designed studies, including trials; to consider and provide guidance to studies proposed by others and to ensure lay representative involvement. See Terms of Reference below for further information.
We are interested in ways to promote positive SRH by ensuring that people are able to make informed choices, and in ways to implement high-quality research evidence into practice.
The SRH CSG has also been working to develop and fund the 10 priorities in contraception research identified by the Contraception Priority Setting Partnership (Contraception PSP) project conducted by FSRH.
The SRH CSG is chaired by Rebecca French, Associate Professor of Sexual and Reproductive Health, Faculty of Public Health and Policy, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). The SRH CSG is one of the clinical studies groups of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).
Deadline for applications is 13 May 2019.
