The Events Committee of the FSRH is looking for a new Consultant member to join and shape our growing events offering.
The Events Committee is a committee of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH), which provides strategic oversight for FSRH organised events to ensure they deliver quality educational content for members and delegates. The Committee is now looking for a new Consultant to join and play a key role in shaping our growing events offering.
Being part of the Events Committee can help you broaden your knowledge of SRH and widen your network of contacts. You will be able to see the direct impact of your work through the delivery of the events programme. It is also a good personal CPD opportunity.
Members of the Events Committee have the opportunity to:
Read about some of the experiences of the previous Consultant Member, Dr Ulrike Sauer, here, and about our upcoming events like FSRH Virtual and the Hot Topic series.
We are looking for a Consultant to join the committee in this voluntary role for a term of 3 years, with the possibility to extend for a second term.
The post holder will work closely with the Events Committee chair and other committee members, as well as the FSRH events team and an external events company. The committee is serviced by a co-ordinator (staff member) who will assist with the ongoing workload of the committee in general, and who will liaise with members of the committee regarding their responsibilities.
Please see the role specification and the terms of reference for the committee and apply by completing this form by 17:00 on Thursday, 17 November 2022. We will feedback to applicants in the following weeks with the intention that the successful applicant will be invited to attend their first meeting (online) on Friday, 2 December 2022.
