Public Health England (PHE) has published a resources toolkit to support the evaluation of interventions and projects in sexual health, reproductive health and HIV services (SH, RH & HIV)

To support the evaluation of interventions in the commissioning and delivery of SH, RH and HIV services, PHE has developed the following 3 resources:

1. Introductory Guide
2. Evaluation workbook and report template
3. List of current standards and metrics in SH, RH & HIV

The Introductory Guide (1) is a useful first step for anyone new to the topic of evaluation or those wishing to refresh their knowledge of evaluation approaches. It is essential reading for those wishing to apply an evaluation framework to their project, service innovation or intervention. The evaluation workbook (2) contains proformas and guidance to support effective evaluation of interventions in SH, RH & HIV services, while the menu of output/outcome measures (3) contains a list of standards and metrics that can be used as indicators. These resources are suitable for evaluating the implementation of NICE Guidance.
