The November 2019 issue covers the new national Sexual and Reproductive Health strategy confirmed by the Government and the new Sexual Health Manifesto issued by over 36 sector organisations and charities calling for the Government to take action in eight key areas. This edition also highlights the new report by the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) about the opportunities to embed Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare services in new models of care such as Integrated Care Systems and Primary Care Networks. In this month’s eFeature, Leanne Bobb, Commissioning Manager at the London Borough of Sutton, looks at the challenges that Sexual Health and Reproductive Health commissioners face.

Other items to look out for this month include: decriminalisation of abortion coming into effect in Northern Ireland; a call for evidence from the HIV Commission to inform a set of recommendations to end new HIV transmissions and HIV-attributed deaths in England by 2030; a new PHE report on how HIV impacts on women in the UK; and much more.
