Any current member of the FSRH to encouraged to nominate somebody they feel deserves an Honorary Fellowship. All applications will be reviewed by FSRH’s Council and this year’s Honorary Fellows will be chosen.

Dr Hilary Cooling and Peter Erard received their Honorary Fellowships in 2018.

Peter Erard commented,

"I feel there are so many people who deserve an award for what they are doing. Being a non-doctor myself, shows that FSRH appreciates that the ‘forces’ in the field are not only about medicine but multidisciplinary ‘joint forces’. So many people with different backgrounds are contributing to sexual and reproductive health and rights. The Faculty has this broader view that many more players are and should be involved."
Dr Hilary Cooling commented,

"It was such a surprise and honour to be awarded an honorary Fellowship – my thanks to the FSRH and in particular to the member who nominated me.  It’s very special to have my contribution to the practice of high quality SRH and the ongoing training of its health professionals valued in this way. The Faculty has come so far, with a great future due to the dedicated work of all those who contribute to its vision."
