National Clinical Impact Awards 2022 (Formerly ACCEA)

Posted 25 April 2022

Date: 25 Apr 2022

Type: FSRH News and Information

The new National Clinical Impact Awards (NCIA) for consultants in England and Wales (formerly named the Advisory Committee on Clinical Excellence Awards), are designed to recognise and retain clinicians who lead the way in the provision and improvement of patient care, demonstrating national impact by going above and beyond their roles.

The application process has changed from previous years. Applications will not be made for a specific level of award. Instead, you will simply apply for a national award, and will receive the level of award that corresponds to the score given to your application form. Please refer to the guidance for applicants for details. Please note that all applications must be submitted electronically through the NCIA website.

Applications for the 2022 round open on Wednesday 27th April 2022 and close at 5pm on Wednesday 22nd June 2022.

Guidance for applicants seeking support from the FSRH

If you are applying for an NCIA award, you may wish to seek a citation and ranking from the FSRH in support of your application.

The FSRH is not a national nominating body, and as such the Faculty is working with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and will take part in their process in support of SRH consultant nominations.

Please note that for the 2022 process, national nominating bodies will not be able to support renewal applications. The process below is for new awards only.

For further information, please visit the RCOG website.
