Maryam Nasri becomes Vice President of Membership, Helen Munro becomes Vice President of Clinical Quality

We are delighted to confirm that Maryam Nasri and Helen Munro are taking up new appointments at FSRH as our Vice President of Membership and Vice President of Clinical Quality respectively.

The roles of Vice President of Membership and Vice President of Clinical Quality are (unpaid) Officer roles at FSRH, and support our President and Council to implement our strategic aims and plans.

FSRH Officer Dr NasriAs VP of Membership, Maryam will be responsible for ensuring that the FSRH continues and develops its support of members of all categories, including primary care, our largest audience. Maryam will also be supporting the work of the Events and International Committees and working with the FSRH’s Executive Directors to support the work around membership communications and development, digital delivery and to ensure that we are responding to key challenges and opportunities external to FSRH.

Maryam has a wealth of valuable experience in SRH and as a Consultant in SRH her areas of interest span menopause, contraception in peri-menopause and education in SRH. Maryam is also an FSRH registered trainer since 2010 and has spoken at many educational conferences. Maryam will be taking over the role of VP of Membership from Helen Munro. Dr Helen Munro Photo FSRH Blog postAs VP of Clinical Quality, Helen Munro will be responsible for working with FSRH’s Executive Directors to oversee work around the development of our clinical advice and guidance and to ensure that these areas continue to be accessible across our digital platforms. Helen will also be looking at opportunities to respond to clinical research and media opportunities as part of her role.

Helen is a Consultant and Clinical Lead in Community SRH in Wales with a wealth of experience from having worked in Scotland, SW Africa and the UK. Helen will be taking over the role of Clinical Quality from Diana Mansour.

”I will bring my past experience as FSRH's VP of membership to the role, looking to increase the reach of our Journal; the applicability of the evidence we produce to support our members on the ground; and expand opportunities to bring new research into our specialty."
