With the launch of the new FSRH website, FSRH is about to embark on a mapping exercise of all of our members who carry out a leadership role in their services across England.

Why are we doing this?

We want to map SRH leadership for several reasons:

  • To identify where there are gaps in service provision
  • For purposes of succession planning
  • To influence Health Education England in terms of providing adequate funding for CSRH trainee places

How are we doing this?

We are going to be using the registration process of the new website as our main resource for gathering key mapping information such as locality, job title, age and contact details. As you fill out the sections there will be a tick box asking if you carry out a leadership role in your service. We’re hoping that those carrying out leadership roles will tick this box, so we can plot their job role and locality on our Workforce Map. We may follow up with some members if we think their own knowledge and clinical networks may be useful in mapping SRH leadership in particular areas.

How can you help?

If you are an existing member of the FSRH but haven't yet logged into our new website, please click the 'Register' button, fill in the registration form and if you carry out a leadership role tick the designated box. We’ll be in contact if we require any more information. For members who have already registered on our new website, you can update your details any time by logging into the website and clicking on the tile called 'My Details' to ensure your personal details are kept up-to-date.
