Are you passionate about Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare? Do you have the drive and leadership skills to shape the future of our field in Northern Ireland? We are excited to announce a unique opportunity to become the Chair of the FSRH Northern Ireland Committee.

The Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) is a leading professional membership organisation dedicated to promoting high standards of sexual and reproductive healthcare in the UK. As a respected authority in the field, FSRH plays a crucial role in shaping policies, delivering training, and advancing clinical practice.

As the Chair of the Northern Ireland Committee, you will lead and represent FSRH's work in Northern Ireland, ensuring the highest standards of care and education in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including members, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and patient advocacy groups, to influence local and national strategies, and champion the needs of patients and professionals alike.

Your role as Chair of the Northern Ireland Committee will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing strategic leadership and direction to the Northern Ireland Committee, ensuring alignment with FSRH's vision and objectives.
  • Representing FSRH in external meetings, conferences, and policy forums, advocating for the improvement of sexual and reproductive healthcare in Northern Ireland.
  • Fostering collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders to drive positive change and influence decision-making processes.
  • Working closely with committee members to develop and deliver initiatives that address the specific needs and challenges in Norther Ireland.
  • Potentially acting as a spokesperson for FSRH in the media and contribute to publications and policy statements as required.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, with a deep understanding of the Northern Ireland healthcare system and its challenges.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record in engaging with policy and driving change, coupled with a strong commitment to promoting evidence-based practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and foster effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Membership of FSRH
