Introducing the new Chair of the FSRH Wales Committee

We’re delighted to introduce the newly appointed chair of the FSRH Wales Committee; Dr Georgine Forbes.
Dr Georgina Forbes is a Specialist Doctor in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare working in Aneurin Bevan University Healthboard, South Wales. Her clinical work covers contraception, genitourinary medicine, abortion care and menopause care. She is the service lead for Safeguarding and medically complex contraception. Her interests include post-natal contraception provision and improving access to LARC. She is passionate about teaching and can often be found sharing her knowledge and passion with others.
She is dedicated to promoting the SAS grade as a career choice and leading by example in showing what senior roles SAS doctors can undertake.
Dr Georgina Forbes was elected as the new FSRH Wales Committee Chair in June 2023.
As a member of Council, she looks forward to continuing supporting the work of the FSRH’s vision of high-quality sexual and reproductive health at every stage of our lives.
