The research team behind the British National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles (Natsal) is currently consulting on what information should be collected by the next Natsal (Natsal-4). Natsal is one of the largest and most detailed studies of sexual and reproductive behaviour in the world. The data is used extensively to inform policy and practice in this area. Your opinion is very important to shape the survey and enhance our understanding of sexual and reproductive health attitudes in Britain.

The consultation is live until 22 July 2019.

The research is a collaboration between University College London (UCL), London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), University of Glasgow and NatCen Social Research (NatCen).

The FSRH Clinical Studies Group (SRH CSG) is working with the Natsal team to improve questions relating to contraception, fertility and abortion as well as to ensure that the results of Natsal-4 can fill current data gaps.

The results of this consultation will be published in a short report on the Natsal website later this year.
