Three positions are open for applications now.

The WDSC is a newly established committee at the FSRH responsible for progressing the outputs and outcomes of a variety of products and projects that support the learning and development of the SRH workforce as a whole. Although part of the Education and Training Directorate of the FSRH the committee will also have responsibility for advising on influencing in relation to the workforce. This is an excellent opportunity to influence and support the SRH workforce across the UK.

Examples of the work which will be governed by this committee include CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration), SAS doctor support, mentoring, Advanced Clinical Practitioner development, Revalidation & CDP.

There is no remuneration for the post but any out of pocket expenses will be paid in line with the FSRH expenses policy (available on request).

1. Chair of the Workforce Development and Support Committee (WDSC)

Being the Chair of the Workforce Development & Support Committee is an excellent opportunity to:

  • Develop your medical education and workforce knowledge and expertise

The WDSC is an education & training committee responsible for progressing the outputs and outcomes of a variety of products and projects that support the learning & development of the SRH workforce. This is an excellent opportunity to influence and support the SRH workforce.

2.  Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Representative on the Workfoce and Development Committee (WDSC)

The FSRH is an inclusive organisation committed to Equality and Diversity in all its work. This particular committee member will be responsible for advising and leading on our approaches to supporting equality and diversity among the SRH workforce.

3. Job Description Representative  of the Workforce Development and Support Committee (WDSC)

One of the roles we need to fill is to undertake the review of consultant and lead clinician job descriptions. We are looking for an experienced Consultant in SRH who has an understanding of the CSRH Curriculum and different models of service delivery to support a FSRH Staff member to review these positions.
