FSRH is carrying out a members' research project using Shift Learning
Date: 16 Nov 2018
Type: FSRH News and Information

We wanted to let all members know that we are carrying out a members research project into our benefits, services and qualifications.
We want to understand what members want and need. We are also hoping that the research results can help us provide better tailored communications and benefit offerings to our different groups of members. We have chosen to work with Shift Learning, a research company that specialises in research into learning and education.
Taking part
An online survey will be circulated via email to members in November. For all those that take part there is the opportunity to win 1 of 8 of £25 Amazon vouchers. We will also be carrying out in-depth telephone interviews in early 2019 with selected members.
The results will be used to shape our benefits, services and qualification offering, not just next year but through to 2025 as the findings will help our strategy which we are developing.
As Abby Wright-Parkes, Director of Membership commented:
"I am so pleased that our Council and trustees agreed that we could invest in this project. As a multidisciplinary Faculty, we have quite a broad range of members added to which we are also not the 'first' medical college for most of our members, so we need to work hard to ensure we deliver services and qualifications that our members need now and in the future. The FSRH is its members and so to be sustainable we need to ensure we recruit and retain our members.
We appreciate we are often asking members for their feedback, but we hope they will be able to get involved in this project especially if they haven't fed back elsewhere. Their responses will help shape the FSRH's benefit and qualifications offering going forward - this project is a real opportunity for our members to have an impact on what we do."
