FSRH Clinical Standards Committee: Three new member vacancies

The FSRH Clinical Standards Committee (CSC) is recruiting to the following 3 vacancies, one Trainee Member and two General Members. Applications will close on Thursday 20th December 2018 at 3pm.

The FSRH Clinical Standards Committee (CSC) produces and updates subject specific standards to guide clinical governance across all Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services.

These standards are applicable to individual clinicians, as well as those managing or commissioning SRH services. They are designed to ensure high quality patient care is delivered as standard and are built upon available clinical evidence and best practice examples. Auditable outcomes are integrated within the standards for practicable application and benchmarking.

The work of the committee has a broad range of impacts, including contributing to improving patient experience and ensuring both the present and future SRH workforce are well trained.

Below are outlines of the roles and responsibilities of each vacancy.

There are three vacancies open:

Trainee member (one vacancy)
The Clinical Standards Committee (CSC) are looking for an enthusiastic CSRH trainee representative to be part of the team. The successful applicant would be available to attend the FSRH Clinical Standards Committee meetings (4 per year - 3 via video/teleconference) and be a key member of the team to help with the development and shaping of future Clinical standards.

General member (two vacancies)
The Clinical Standards Committee (CSC) is looking to appoint 2 new general members to the committee. The successful applicants would be expected to attend the FSRH Clinical Standards Committee meetings (4 per year - 3 via video/teleconference) and be a key member to help with the development of Clinical standards. The committee would particularly welcome Nurse, General Practice and Speciality Doctor applicants.
