The FSRH Clinical Standards Committee is now recruiting to 3 vacancies
The FSRH Clinical Standards Committee (CSC) is recruiting to the following 3 vacancies:
• Revalidation Member
• General Practice Member
• General Member
Below are outlines of the roles and responsibilities of each vacancy.
Revalidation Member
The Clinical Standards Committee is looking to appoint a second committee member to with issues related to revalidation, remediation and professional development. The successful applicant would be expected to attend the FSRH Clinical Standards Committee meetings (4 per year - 3 via teleconference) and be able to attend some of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges revalidation meetings on behalf of the FSRH. With the support of the Clinical Standards Committee this member would also be called upon to provide FSRH members with advice related to revalidation.
General Practitioner Member
The Clinical Standards Committee is looking to appoint a general practitioner member to the committee. The successful applicant would be expected to attend the FSRH Clinical Standards Committee meetings (4 per year - 3 via teleconference) and be a key member to help with the development of Clinical standards. The FSRH is committed to making its guidance and standards applicable to all members, and as the majority of FSRH members work in General Practice, it is essential that the committee have a member who can provide a GP perspective.
General Member
The Clinical Standards Committee is looking to appoint a general member to the committee. The successful applicant would be expected to attend the FSRH Clinical Standards Committee meetings (4 per year - 3 via teleconference) and be a key member to help with the development of Clinical standards. We would particularly welcome a candidate who has a particular interest in audit in advance of the first FSRH National benchmarking audit.
