The FSRH Clinical Effectiveness Committee (CEC) wishes to recruit five new members: Trainee Representative, Lay Representative, GP Member, and two Specialty/SAS Doctor Members. Applications will close at 17.00 on Friday, 7th April 2023
The FSRH's Clinical Effectiveness Committee is responsible for overseeing the FSRH’s Clinical Effectiveness Unit (CEU), which works to promote evidence-based clinical practice. The unit has four main work streams: evidence-based guidance and NICE accredited guidelines (including the review and update of the UK Medical Eligibility Criteria); members’ evidence requests; new product reviews; and clinical audit/research.
The committee also liaises and works collaboratively with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and other professional organisations on issues of clinical practice. In addition, the committee prepares briefings for FSRH Council on emerging issues at the forefront of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (SRH).

The Clinical Effectiveness Committee (CEC) is looking to appoint a CSRH trainee member to the committee. The successful applicant will be a CSRH trainee and is expected to input their experience and knowledge at all Clinical Effectiveness Committee meetings. The appointed member should expect some email communication throughout the year and commit to attending three committee meetings across the 12 months, mostly held remotely.

The successful applicant will provide a lay perspective and will be expected to input their experience and knowledge at all Clinical Effectiveness Committee meetings. The appointed member should expect some email communication throughout the year and commit to attending three committee meetings across the 12 months, mostly held remotely.
