Exam Preparation Courses: attend our Focus Group and have your say!

At FSRH, we are constantly working with our trainees and members to understand how to better support and facilitate education, and this of course includes exam preparation.

As a faculty, we have conducted our own research into what other providers are doing to support their delegates and, additionally, the resources and offerings delegates would like to see from their respective providers. 

So, we want to hear from you!

To help us provide an appropriate exam preparation package, we will be holding two focus groups in September, and invite 10 CSRH trainees to attend each group.

Each session will cover both Part I & Part II of the MFSRH exam and will discuss the following:

• What do our trainees want to know about the exams process?
• How do our trainees revise currently, and what resources are utilised?
• What additional assets would be useful?
• What should an FSRH exam preparation course include?

During the sessions, we will present the independent data collected, ask for trainee input, and give you the opportunity to have a pivotal role in the development of FSRH's exam support. 

Focus Group Dates: 

• Thursday 7th Sept - 4:00pm-6:30pm (Virtual Meeting)
• Thursday 14th Sept - 2:00pm-4:30pm (Union Street Offices)

We have planned for two focus groups, one virtual and one in-person, in order to accommodate for trainees further afield. The focus groups will be held by Jane Davies, MFSRH project Manager, and Meg Atkinson-Chance, Training Programme Lead.

To get involved, please email Meg via specialty@fsrh.org no later than Friday 1st September, 5pm, if you would like to attend our virtual session; and Wednesday 6th September, 5pm, if you would like to attend in-person. 

Groups have a limited capacity of 10 trainees per session, and places will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.

Please note, the faculty may cover expenses incurred for travel local to the London area, however cannot cover accommodation fees. Should you require assistance with travel fees, please provide details in your email to specialty@fsrh.org.
