eKA time to be extended by 15 minutes from 2 January 2019
Date: 17 Dec 2018
Type: FSRH News and Information

We are making some improvements to the eKA based on data monitoring and user feedback.
The eKA (electronic knowledge assessment) is an online single best answer test that must be passed before candidates can take our Diploma and Letter of Competence qualifications.
It supports you to deliver contraceptive and non-specialist sexual and reproductive healthcare and ensures you have the knowledge required. Taking the eKA enables you to move onto the clinical aspects of our qualifications above.
What are we changing?
We are making some improvements to the eKA based on user feedback and the monitoring of data over time.
From 2 January 2019, we will extend the time to complete the eKA by 15 minutes. This will give learners two hours to complete the assessment. We are also improving our guidance to support candidates on assessment technique.
