Date: 23 Sep 2020

Type: FSRH News and Information

Our eKA is now no longer available to purchase as it will be replaced by our Online Theory Assessment (OTA) in November. The OTA will form part of our redesigned Diploma (DFSRH) and some of our Letter of Competence qualifications (LoC SDI-IR and LoC IUT).

When will this take place?

We will be disabling our eKA online at 3pm on Monday, 19 October. For those who have already purchased the eKA, you have 28 days from the date of purchase to complete it and will need to log into our website to start.

Why is this happening?

We are introducing a new Online Theory Assessment (OTA) which will replace the eKA in November. The OTA will be part of our redesigned Diploma and as an entry assessment for some of the Letters of Competence (LoCs).

If you were considering taking the eKA, you will need to wait until the OTA is available in November 2020 to start. We will share more information in the coming weeks.

If I have completed my eKA previously, is it still valid?

If you have previously passed the eKA as part of another qualification, within five years of starting your new qualification, you will not need to take the OTA.

If you have previously passed the eKA (without achieving another FSRH qualification), within two years of starting your new qualification, you will not need take the OTA.
