Help the FSRH achieve its mission – Diplomate Nominations for Council Vacancies

Dear FSRH Diplomate member,

It is a challenging and exciting time for the FSRH as we work to improve all that we do to support our vision ‘Better care, a better future’. Our Council, comprised of volunteer FSRH members, play a key role in shaping and overseeing the work of the Faculty. The role of Council is changing this year (subject to approval by the AGM in July) and most Council members will no longer be trustees of the charity but will focus on informing and steering our education, standards and influencing work. Being a Council member is a rewarding experience that offers an insight into the work of the FSRH and offers the opportunity for members to have an impact on the wider field of SRH.

At the AGM in July this year, one of the four Diplomate elected representatives of the Council will come to the end of their term and will not be standing for a second term (of 3 years). Therefore we have 1 vacancy for a Diplomate member to stand for election to Council.

You can find out more about being a Council member  on our website

To stand for election

Please complete the form below including signatures from three current Diplomates to support your nomination. Please also include a short paragraph (no more than 300 words) to support your application and return a scanned copy via email to execassistant@fsrh.org or send via post to the address below to ‘Jane Hatfield’. This must reach the FSRH offices not later than 9am on Monday 8th May 2017.

Please note the closing date for nominations has now passed.

When the nomination period has lapsed, if the number of Diplomate members standing for election does not exceed the number of vacancies a ballot will not be held and the member nominated will be elected. If the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies, a list of candidates, together with ballot forms, will be sent to all Diplomates with a ballot paper and an election will be held.

Annual General Meeting – 27th July 2017
