Current Choices 2017 - 350 Delegates across two days

Current Choices took place on 2 and 3 November 2017 at the Royal College of Physicians, London.
Current Choices was attended this year by over 350 delegates. GPs, nurses and consultants attended one or both days to learn from experts and network with colleagues from around the country.
Delegates attended sessions thoughout the two days on various topics including:
- Contraception
- Menopause
- Dermatology
- Abortion
- GUM
Expert speakers thoughout the two-day event included speakers from the British Menopause Society, Dr Heather Currie, and senior consultants working in the NHS such as Dr Tracey Masters to name but a few. The 2017 event programme for the day can still be viewed online.

FSRH Current Choices Delegates.
The conference saw the launch of a new report; ‘Cuts, Closures and Contraception: An audit of local contraceptive services in England’ by the Advisory Group on Contraception (which the FSRH is a member of). In the same session, the fpa also revealed its latest survey findings Contraceptive Choice, which also highlight the impact of SRH cuts on women’s choices. The Labour MP for Dewsbury, Paula Sherriff, added to the debate talking about her work supporting women’s health.
On Thursday 2 November, FSRH was pleased to present Honorary Fellows, Fellows and Members with their awards recognising their achievements and contributions to FSRH and sexual and reprodutive healthcare.
