Type: FSRH News and Information

Alongside UCL and Decolonising Contraception, we are recruiting an experienced healthcare researcher/videographer. Can you help us spread the word?

We have received funding from the PHE Sexual Health, Reproductive health and HIV annual Innovation Fund to work with UCL and Decolonising Contraception and Black communities to increase understanding and choices in contraception.

As part of this, we are recruiting an experienced researcher to run some online focus groups, film volunteers to be in videos and produce 10 short videos. They will feature Black men and women of African, Caribbean and mixed heritage, and Black clinicians who are UK based, discussing contraception choice and access to sexual health services.

Once complete, they will become part of the Contraceptive Choices website – a well-used and credible source of information on contraception for all.

The project will be entirely virtual (online). The role is part-time, working 2.5 days a week for three months.
