BASHH/BHIVA/FSRH have a mentoring scheme which is open to doctors working in specialist SRH services.
The mentoring scheme is voluntary and mentors receive no financial or other reimbursement. Mentors are experienced senior doctors who have had specific training. The scheme runs a one-day mentor training every year but will also consider mentor applicants with other formal training in mentoring. Mentors agree to an Ethical Code of Practice and there are regional mentor representatives that assist in placing mentees.
Further details are available via the BASHH website where you can register if you are interested in being a mentor or having one.
