We are launching a new FSRH Diploma pilot project – could you help us deliver this?

Our new FSRH Diploma opens for applications in Spring 2020. To support this, we are running a 6-month pilot for Faculty Registered Trainers and candidates.

This will start on 1 July 2019 and will help us to test and refine our new Diploma content, processes and resources to better support our trainers and candidates.

Share your feedback and expertise

We are looking for a maximum of 16 committed FSRH Registered Trainers for this pilot. This is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to our new Diploma and share your expertise.

You will need to be available on the following dates and travel expenses will be covered:

  • FRT Diploma pilot training day
    Tuesday, 25 June - London

  • Assessment half day
    Saturday, 7 December - London
(Both FRTs and candidates will also need to be available on this date)

We will support you throughout the pilot with regular updates, training materials and signpost useful resources.

What about my candidates?

You will need to nominate 1-2 motivated, enthusiastic candidates who are able to undertake the learning and assessments from 1 July 2019. They must complete all the assessments and paperwork, including guided feedback, by 15 January 2020.

FSRH fees (currently approx. £300) will be waived for this pilot, but there may also be local trainer charges. FRTs and candidates will be required to provide regular, detailed feedback as part of this project.

You do not have to provide full details of your candidates at this stage. We are keen to make sure candidates reflect a range of roles, so you will need to highlight if they fit a particular job role profile.

We are looking for candidates who have not yet started the current Diploma journey, or passed the eKA in the following roles:

  • Doctors in general practice / integrated services
  • Nurses in general practice / integrated services
  • SRH doctors / nurse
  • Midwives
