Has the process become less cumbersome & less drawn out from in the past?

Dr Jane Dickson, who achieved equivalence on the old SSG/ Curriculum and supported others through CESR says “Yes, because with the new curriculum it is much easier to draw on and demonstrate historical experience rather than have to have ‘sign off ‘ on a specific number of clinical procedures – i.e. if you are ‘competent’ this is what is signed off in the new curriculum , rather than the ‘number’ of procedures you took to get there (and when they occurred)".
