Sue Capstick is Service Manager for Sexual Health at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust. Sue qualified as a family planning nurse in 1985 and has worked in the areas of sexual health, reproductive health and HIV ever since, both here and in Africa. Last year she was one of the first sexual health nurses to be awarded the prestigious title of Queen’s Nurse by the Queen’s Nursing Institute, in recognition of her demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care, learning and leadership.
