Dr Helen MunroDr Helen Munro, Consultant Community Sexual and Reproductive Health, Clinical Lead, Hywel Dda University Health Board and FSRH Vice President, Membership

 

Helen is a Consultant and Clinical Lead in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare with Hywel Dda University Health Board, SW Wales. She is FSRH Vice President (Membership). Helen has had a varied career to date beginning in Scotland, where she graduated from Dundee University. She completed training in General Practice there, before moving to work in Namibia South West Africa.


On her return to the UK she completed an MSc in Public Health at LSHTM before taking up a role in North London within an integrated contraception and sexual health clinic. This is where she found her niche and pursued the CESR route in Community Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare completing in 2017.

She has a special interest in community gynaecology and post reproductive health care. Since moving to Wales she has also found a new love; trail running.
