Dr Farah Chaudhry

Dr Farah ChaudhryI returned home to Yorkshire having studied medicine in Cambridge and completing my training in London. I have had a varied career and worked as a GP in Leeds for 10 years with an interest in Women’s Health which subsequently evolved into a full-time career in SRH. I subsequently worked as Consultant SRH and Contraceptive Lead at Salford Royal, Bradford & Kirklees Sexual Health services.

I am delighted to now be working as Consultant SRH for Leeds Sexual Health, for which I am Co-medical Lead, and Leeds Community Gynaecology in my hometown at the heart of Yorkshire. I also work for BPAS as surgeon and member of their CAG board.

I am currently General Training Programme Director for Leeds Sexual Health and Organon UK, MFSRH Examiner, CESR Evaluator and Ultrasound Special Skills Module Deputy Guardian for the FSRH and am Director of Post-graduate Medical Education for Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

I have previously been CEU Guideline Fellow, Joint Faculty Regional Training Advisor for Yorkshire & Humber, and Workforce Planning Committee member for the FSRH. I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds and

I am a busy parent to 3 lovely daughters who are a constant reminder of the important things in life.
