Clinical Effectiveness Unit

The CEU was formed to support the Clinical Effectiveness Committee of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and to promote evidence based clinical practice.

It is funded by the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and is currently located in the Sandyford sexual health service within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. There are 4 main workstreams:

The team currently consists of the CEU Director (80% FTE) - Dr Louise Melvin, two full-time researchers- Julie Craik and John Scott and a part-time administrator John Matthews. The Clinical Effectiveness Unit (CEU) member's enquiry service will close for the Festive holidays at 17:00 on Monday 15th December 2014 and will re-open on Monday 5th January 2015. Urgent enquiries should be submitted before the services closes. We advise that enquiries should not be submitted after 15th December until the service has re-opened in January 2015.
